THE INNER LANDSCAPE

"AN ENCOURAGING SIGN OF OUR TIMES IS THE GROWING NUMBER OF PEOPLE
WHO ARE CONSCIOUSLY CHOOSING TO TRAVEL THIS JOURNEY TO THE SELF"

Psychotherapy:
Exploring the Inner Life

A Sabbatical is an unwinding, a chance to catch your breath. It is a time for healing and examination of your inner landscape.

A Sabbatical is also a many-layered process; it is a time for renewal.

A Sabbatical is a time for pause, time for discernment.
A time for change from your ordinary routine.

A Sabbatical is a time to pursue, and a time to explore new possibilities.

AN OPEN FLEXIBLE PROGRAM

Emphasis on Psychotherapy
and Emotional Bodywork

This sabbatical program offers you an option of flexibility to design your sabbatical around your own time, your own rhythms of unwinding and relaxing.

Flexible time also allow you the possibility of maintaining your personal and professional commitments.

Mini sabbaticals are our speciality!

Short term intensive work may often yield much fruit and give access to the inner landscape of the self. When we are in touch with the inner landscape of our self we are also in harmony with our whole being and the universe. Knowing the self is the key to a successful, connected life of peace.

Spirituality

«This new way to God is not through a separation from our bodies, a struggle to become a pure spirit; it is in and through our bodies and in all that is weak and broken in us that we meet God.»
Jean Vanier, 'Drawn into the Mystery of Jesus through the Gospel of John', Novalis

Note: We explore and journey with scripture themes, myths, stories and our own life narratives.

WE DO NOT KNOW WHO WE ARE
IF WE HAVE LOST OUR SPIRITUALITY
WE ARE EMPTY

Exploration of your belief system

  Recovery of the believing self

    The Life and Faith Questions:
Who Am I ?
  What Am I doing here?
    Where Am I going?

«As a little child, Jesus must have often heard his mother Mary singing and we know she sang a revolutionary song, 'The Magnificat' – the anthem of Luke's gospel. She sang about neighborliness: about how God brings down the mighty from their thrones and lifts up the lowly, about how God fills the hungry with good things and sends the rich away empty.
Jesus healed and brought new life. Jesus' example gives us the mandate to transform our public life into a life of ministry.»

A sabbatical can help you to fill up
the hungry side of you

A sabbatical can assist you to discover your true self potential and to enjoy your full creative energy,
without depleting the self

Asklepion Toronto Inc.

in collaboration with the Institute for Studies in Psychotherapy and Emotional Bodywork

Asklepion, an early healing place in Pergamum, was a highly advanced healing centre established in the forth century ,B.C. This early healing place implemented music, dreams, narrative stories, spirituality, laughter, suggestions, massage, healing baths of thermal waters, mud and clay baths, herbs and diet as treatment for mental and physical illness. The afflicted were encouraged to bathe, relax, sleep, dream and to tell their life story. The dreams and their interpretation would direct the appropriate healing journey. The Asklepion Centre in Toronto today employs many of these traditions of ancient healing remedies and techniques in their therapy programs.

ANGEL POWER and ASKLEPION

The archangel Raphael is the archangel of healing. Asklepion was an ancient place of healing dedicated to the gods of healing. In the Judaic Christian & Islam tradition angels have always played an important role in healing of the spirit and of the body.

Recovery from Addictions
and other Life Issues

Asklepion Centre offers treatment for addictions, stress, trauma, addications & compulsive behaviour.

Testimonials

«As my course draws to an end I would offer a few brief personal comments by way of response. This is not an evaluation as such but rather a reflection of a personal process. I write it for myself in an attempt to clarify what has occurred and openly share it with the Province Leadership Team along with Regis Hickey and John Roberts who have been significant community members.» [ click ] to read the full letter.

«I had to let you know that it was God's inspiration that I have come here to learn from you all. Thank-you for journeying with me. I have learned the human approach to learning from all of you especially through the work with Daniel and John. My gratitude is more than I can express.» :: Sr. Agnes Panikulam, Medical Missionary Sister, Delhi, India
